FARB, as an association of associations, is uniquely positioned to lead and support excellence in the regulation of professions. Its strength lies in the depth of knowledge, experience, and shared commitment of its members—national associations of regulatory boards spanning disciplines, jurisdictions, and professions.

FARB serves as a national hub for collaboration, connection, and insight across the regulatory community. By bringing together leaders who operate at the intersection of policy, administration, and public protection, FARB fosters the exchange of ideas, identification of emerging trends, and development of practical strategies that strengthen regulatory systems.

A cornerstone of this work is the FARB Summit on Regulatory Excellence, the organization’s annual convening that brings together regulators, policymakers, attorneys, and partners for high-level dialogue, education, and networking. The Summit focuses on the most pressing issues facing the regulatory landscape and provides actionable insights to support effective, accountable, and forward-looking regulation.

FARB membership includes several distinct categories:

• Governing Members: National associations of regulatory boards across professions, representing the core of FARB’s membership and leadership.
• Regulatory Board Members: State and jurisdictional regulatory boards responsible for licensing and oversight of professions and occupations.
• Supporting Members: Companies, organizations, and service providers that support regulatory boards and their associations through products, services, and expertise.
