FARB Meetings
FARB Forum: The Forum is an annual three-day educational conference that occurs during the last weekend of January. Topics range from good moral character and board member ethics to disciplinary action and specific board procedures. Speakers come with all manner of expertise: from executive directors of boards to attorneys who represent those boards, from FBI investigators and state legislators to members of the press and board staff. The forum is a venue for sharing information, cooperating to solve mutual problems facing boards, and networking to learn from each other’s districts and professions. Each year, the forum meets in a different location, alternating between the east and the west coasts, from north to south. Attendees of the forum include executive directors and administrators of regulatory boards, board members, assistant attorneys general, investigators, and others who are involved in the important mission of public protection through regulation.
